Singapore

SINGAPORE.

My travel to Singapore with my family was because of My Mom's birthday. She will turn 53 and we decided to head to Singapore for her celebration. It was Me, Dad, Mom, and two siblings who were with me and surprisingly my best friend Grace, cousin Alvin and Janice were also coming with us. So imagine a whole gang! Which is pretty exciting!

From Manila to Singapore it would take 2 hours flight travel
our airline was Cebu Pacific, and we will be staying at a 2 star hotel, Fragrance Hotel-Emerald located at Geylang, Singapore. The hotel was just right for family on a budget, since we would spend time exploring Singapore and the location is near to local stores and restaurants.

Day 1: Singapore Tour

Mall
From Singapore Airport, we took the cab and first head to the hotel to check-in our luggages. And straight away we started our Day tour around Singapore!

From the Hotel we rode the Bus waited for 10minutes at the bus stop. My cousin gave us the Metro Card which can serve as the access to both the Bus and Train! which is easy and cheap compared taking the cab. This single Metro card, would be better so that you can load credits and your set to go! I found this a very cool thing to use!
Singapore McDonald's

First itinerary was Lunch! So we head to the Mall, and ended up eating Singapore's McDonald's!
Then later we to look for the new iphone 5 around the gadget store there is.
and viola! I got the new iPhone 5 for post-bday present! thanks Dad! ^________^
Singapore's Subway
Suntec City Mall
There is no better way to tour Singapore than catching the ride on the original DUCKtour!
I personally bought the package where it comes both Ducktour + Flyer.

The Duck tour fascinating! this unique experience will take 30minute land and 30minute sea experience around Singapore! which was pretty cool to be both in land and water to check out the entire city! there will be tour guides on the Duck and other tourist along too. I do highly recommend this for family for it promise the best tour experience for an hour.

Heading up! the Escalator: keep LEFT! to give way for commuters who are in a hurry :)

In Singapore: ALWAYS KEEP LEFT! at all times...

By the evening we celebrated my mom's birthday at Marina Bay Sands.
It is a high class hotel very much amazed by the architecture of the hotel. According to the locals, there is a pool located up above but we only had to experience Dinner and the view from outside. But I say 100% high-class 5-star and a must visit place!

Day 2: Sentosa - Flyer - Night out

Sentosa.

From our hotel we rode the bus and headed to the Cable car which was located near the Harbour. This ride would take you us across Sentosa which happens to be an entire different island across the city proper of Singapore. We road the bus from our Hotel heading to the Cable car that will bring us to Sentosa. At last as we head to the Famous Singapore Cable Car, it gave us a breathtaking view of the City skyline and harbour of Singapore. From above you can also enjoy the scenery of Sentosa and I enjoyed taking panoramic view of the entire ride!

We bought tickets and we are all set! The cable care can only accomodate around 4-5 people so it took 2 cable car for the entire family.

Cable Car Heading to Sentosa
At Sentosa, there were free shuttle bus that could take you around. It was very huge since the whole island composed of different place with diffirent rides and attractions to see.
First ride: the Luge

Second ride: Cine Blast

It was rainy so we kinda ditched the third ride. Going back to Sentosa we rode the Train and explored more around and ofcourse who would miss seeing Universal Studios. Since nobody wanted to check out the rides the family decided to just take pictures of the famous "globe" and set back to Singapore.

Flyer.

This 165m Singapore's Flyer is one of the magnificent observation wheel there is!

It is very spacious and all of us were eager to ride this!
As soon as we got back to Singapore from Sentosa, we all decided to head to the Flyer.

But due to the bad weather, they predicted heavy thunder the Flyer was not in operation. Unfortunately, we haven't got the chance to experience the ride. The family was already tired to wait for a couple more hours or so then we decided to take pictures instead and then head back to the hotel.

Night out at Singapore at Clarke.

Of course we ladies don't want to miss the party! Since the night is young and so are we, on our pretty black dress and heels off we set foot to the "Night out" of Singapore. Thanks to my cousin, he brought us to the famous Singapore Clubs located at Clarke Quay. We decided to check out the Pump Room, it was a cozy Bistro with live bands. We get to dance on the dance floor and definitely enjoyed ladies drink!
